Hi, I'm Camila Ganc...
I am deeply passionate about the human body—its nature, movements, communication, expressions, and emotions.
With over 20 years of dedicated study in body mechanics, movement, health, longevity, and sustainability, my approach transcends traditional hands-on methods. I interweave massage, the Alexander Technique, and various regenerative movement practices, including Dance, Yoga, and Taijiquan, to create comprehensive programs.
These unique programs are designed to help you establish a sustainable routine that emphasizes holistic health, balance, and well-being, with a focus on integration, fulfillment, and longevity.
Somatic Massage
I am a certified Massage Therapist and instructor with over 20 years of experience and ongoing study. Proficient in various techniques—including shiatsu, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, clay therapy, reflexology, and posturology—I create customized treatments tailored to each individual's specific needs. My interdisciplinary approach blends the foundational principles of each technique into a cohesive and holistic experience, addressing the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of well-being.
Each session is a unique 90-minute full-body (and soul) massage, designed to mobilize and integrate the person as a whole. Whether performed with or without clothing, with or without oil, the treatment includes a variety of touches, stretches, and alignments. My goal is to release tensions and stagnation from different systems, restoring the natural flow of energy and promoting overall balance and health.

THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE
In 2010, driven by a desire for sustainability in my own body, I discovered the Alexander Technique, which introduced me to the profound practice of "stopping" and cultivating sustainable, healthy habits. As an Alexander Technique teacher, I guide students in recognizing how they hold themselves, store, and release emotions through physical habits. I provide practical tools that can be integrated into daily life, emphasizing the importance of constructive rest and how to truly benefit from it.
The Alexander Technique is a mindfulness-based practice that focuses on developing awareness of the body’s balance, posture, and movement, particularly concerning the head, neck, and spine—referred to as Primary Control. This technique encourages intentional, mindful movement to replace automatic, habitual actions. By enhancing body awareness, students learn to identify and inhibit dysfunctional positions and movements, leading to better coordination, reduced tension, pain relief, and overall well-being. Additionally, the practice promotes emotional and psychological health by emphasizing the interconnectedness of thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. Each session includes both constructive rest and mindful movement, fostering a holistic approach to health and well-being.

DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY
Dance has been the guiding force throughout my entire journey, beginning with formal classical training and evolving through modern and contemporary dance. My focus has shifted from performing and teaching to a deeper exploration of anatomy, physiology, and psychology. I have developed a keen interest in how emotions are processed, mobilized, transformed, and communicated through the healing power of dance, music, and creativity. This passion led me to study Dance Movement Therapy in 2010.
Dance Movement Therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses movement, music, and the connection between the body and space to explore and express emotions. I was immediately drawn to Elena Cerruto's methodology, which integrates Eastern philosophies on life and health with Western sciences such as anatomy, physiology, physiotherapy, and the fundamentals of dance. This approach resonates deeply with my lifelong studies, as it emphasizes the ability to connect with primal elements, mobilize stagnant energy, and transform it into movement, fostering healing and personal growth.

TAIJIQUAN
On a parallel but inseparable journey, I had the privilege of training with my Taijiquan professor from an early age, which inspired me to learn more about Chinese Medicine, health, and longevity through massage and movement. It has been a gift that I continue to share with people.
Taijiquan is a form of martial art, also considered a moving meditation, based on Taoism and Chinese philosophy. It promotes longevity, balance, physical awareness, and strength, mobilizes stagnation through sustained attention, intention, and integration, and also stimulates memory, coordination, and spatial orientation.
Each class includes warm-up movements, the kati (a sequence of movements taught from teacher to teacher and repeated as a way to study the fundamentals in motion), and toi sau (a paired practice where we learn to listen, receive, and transform within).

YOGA
Hatha Yoga, a practice that emphasizes balance, strength, and flexibility, is the perfect complement to your overall well-being. Through mindful poses, breath control, and meditation, the classes help you cultivate physical awareness, release tension, and foster inner calm.
